Georgetown is a historic city with amazing views and an old world feeling, from the cobblestone streets to the old colonial style row homes. The commercial areas along Wisconsin Avenue, M Street and the waterfront display a sampling of landmark buildings with a variety of architectural styles. - The Exorcist Steps - The creepy 97-step staircase at the end of 36th Street, NW, made famous in the movie, and previously known as The Hitchcock Steps.
