Foxhall Homes
You won't find the typical Washington rowhouses here. Instead Foxhall real estate is dominated by larger single family homes, and estates on generous, treed lots. Adjoining two and three story brick Tudor style townhomes are also very common and some condominiums.
Foxhall was developed by Boss & Phelps in the 1920's. The owner, Harry Boss, had just returned from a trip to England, and fascinated with the stuccoed Tudor style of houses, he set out to replicate the design in his new development. By 1927 he had completed just under 150 homes and was responsible for the high concentration of Tudor style homes so common in Foxhall.
The average Foxhall home list price is just under $800,000.
